This season was arguably one of the most active seasons in recent years. Professional storm photographer Ty Schmitt and I embarked on a 1000 mile journey through the plains in search of powerful storms. On May 5th, 2019 an EF-2 Tornado touched down outside of Lubbock, TX. With wind speeds of 120mph, you can really feel the tornado's extreme power. You never know what you are going to get on any given day in Tornado Alley and we were lucky enough to stay safe and capture some amazing storm imagery.
